Provenance Indigenous Plants can supply a wide range of trees, shrubs, groundcovers, climbers, grasses and wetland plants.

All are indigenous to the Adelaide area, having thrived in this region for thousands of years.

Our plants are grown in full sun and raised from locally collected seeds or cuttings, and so are perfectly adapted to our local climate and soils.

Once established, they should require little watering or maintenance, and will form an attractive part of any garden. Their use will help to preserve the natural vegetation of the Adelaide region of which only 6% remains.

What Clients Say

We are very fortunate to have formed excellent partnerships with many of our clients. And we’ve formed more than just working relationships with them; we have formed true friendships. Here’s what they’re saying about us.

Fantastic range of local Adelaide plants. Knowledgeable and helpful owner. Do your bit for the environment and start planting these species to bring back our own insects and butterflies to create biodiversity.

They sell plants that are native to the Adelaide region so they’re adapted and know how to survive with very little care.
Pete, the owner, is a very friendly owner who has an incredible high knowledge of the native, pre-European settlement, land. You just need to bring it up in conversation as he’s not a walking around showing off any hubris. In fact, he’s the opposite. He understands that most customers aren’t that knowledgeable so he’ll help you without any hint on condescension or talking down to.

Highly recommend.

Beautiful spot to visit, great prices and staff info. Make sure you take your time here and breathe in. My little semapore backyard has groundcovers, small shrubs and a couple of trees growing and looking beautiful. All survived, even through the heatwaves and the smoke pollution.
